X rays are important diagnostic tools when there is a need for .

Quality of the x rays are also very important  to be able to see pathology in /on/around internal organs. In Istanbul Veterinary Poly-clinic we have the ability of  taking quality x rays .

We also have telemedicine capacity . We can forward your pets x- rays to an American board certified specialists and get second opinion within 24 hours .

Th e laboratory :

Our laboratory is equipped with the latest technological laboratory equipments which are developed only  for animals

We use in house Vettest 8008 dry chemistry machine and QBC blood analyzer for complete blood  counts. It only takes 20 minutes to get results after the blood  collection. This way we can start treatments  right after of arrival of sick animals in our facilities

Surgery Room : Our surgery room is equipped with two anesthetic machines , one is for dogs and the other one is dedicated to small sized dogs and cats. We use  Isoflorane  gas anesthetic which is known as one of the safest  anesthetic gas available for human and animal  anesthesia. All surgery patient are given premedications to calm them down and to reduce the anxiety . Before connecting animals to anesthetic machine , they get intravenous induction agent through the İ.v . catheter replaced on front leg . All surgery patients  receive intravenous fluids to maintain the blood flow and prevent dehydration . Circulating warm water blankets are replaced under the animals to prevent heat loss during surgery.

All animals are given pain killers right after they wake up to reduce the post- surgical pain and anxiety.

Cat  and dog cages  are in seperate areas . Our cages are larger than the normal sized cages to give your pet  an extra comfort.
